Shipping:
We will ship all items by UPS or USPS. The ship time from New York Sate can range from 1 to 5 business days depending on your location. Although we always calculate shipping and handling close to our actual cost, additional shipping & handling charges may apply when necessary.
PAYMENT PROCESSING
We do not store any credtit card or personal bank information on our web server. We currently use third party credit card processing services. PayPal securely processes payments for Whitaker Family Solutions. We may use Google Checkout at a later date.
Disclaimer for DVD Services
Home video recording tapes offer hours of preserved memories. VHS offers 2, 4 or 6 hour options. Tapes recorded with 2 hour options are generally a better quality of recording. The 6 hour option would be a lesser quality.
VHS Video tape quality varies for several factors. Tape speed when recorded or copied can determine quality not related to lighting and other “shooting” factors.
Copying to DVD does NOT improve the quality of the tape! It only preserves onto DVD what you already have.
VHS Tape that has aged or has been repeatedly started and stopped may produce DVD quality that may be unsatisfactory. We will make every effort to minimize this effect but can not guarantee a smooth, trouble free copy. Nor can we guarantee the original copy will not be destroyed in the transfer of the tape to DVD. We will make every effort to minimize this possibility by maintaining the original integrity of the equipment used for this process.
We record onto DVD up to 2 hours on each disc. Each disc will be marked with name and date of recording. Some effort will be made to indicate what is recorded…a year, a theme, ECT… The DVD will be returned in a case. Your original VHS tape will also be returned (marked copied and REWOUND)!
Shipping charges will apply when necessary.
